Deep in the mountains beyond Mt. Princeton are the remains of Abbeyville, not far from Taylor Park Reservoir, where bounties of trout can be caught. The U.S. Post Office was established at Abbeyville in 1882, and remained in operation until 1884, when it dwindled down to nothing after several years, then regained popularity as the twentieth century rolled along. Now, there are several “summer cabins” for those who need to get away from it all to go fishing up at the reservoir or hiking-and-camping in the surrounding mountains. Still, though, after dark, the ghosts of miners, barmaids, and denizens of the culture, continue to fill the air!

Sounds include:
The repeated chants of a Buddhist monk in Bangkok; Lake Baikal ice drummers; steel-tongue drum; a British Railways 4mt-2-6-0 train; and dkaufman’s “slow-ghosts” electronic meanderings.
