about

Sit back and enjoy the calming and soothing rhythms of the ocean, as heard on beaches from Midway Island in the Pacific Ocean and Sura Lake in Penza, Russia to Clevedon Bay Victorian Pier in Somerset England, which is across the bay from Penarth Pier in Cardiff, in South Wales, both on the River Severn. So many places to dream about as you listen to the surf! **This song definitely is better heard through headphones**…but if none are available, just turn your speakers up so you can hear the deeper tones and calming sounds of the seascapes around the world.

Sounds include:
Wind and surf on two separate piers at the mouth of the River Severn adjacent to Bristol Channel in Great Britain; surf on Lake Sura in Russia; surf on the beaches of Midway Island in the Northern Pacific Ocean; and Solfeggio tones of 44hz, 63hz, and 1185hz, which together are used to induce brainwave entrainment or a harmony between the sound waves and the brain state, which create a deep sense of relaxation or concentration. The field of science that covers this is the cognitive neuroscience of sound. [However, I don’t intend to make the listener think that I have the training to impart medical or psychological advice. I’m not a doctor, I’m just a guy who enjoys using Solfeggio tones for relaxation.]

Versatyle Villain Nashville, Tennessee

Inspired by experimental music of the 1930s & 1940s, I am a composer who gets your juices flowing: I splice, chop, flip, stretch, slow down, and speed up music in "Soundtracks for Unknown Films and Shorts". Here, you may find a melange of mellow ambience through a space-wild, spine-tingling galactic fantasy. ... more
